2015 Pork of the Year “Winner” Announced

June 16, 2015 12:04PM

This year, for the first time in Beacon history, we let you decide which instance of government waste should be named the Pork of the Year. After hundreds of votes for the 2015 Pork of the Year, we have a winner!

It was a close matchup but in the end, the new Tennessee $46,000 logo debacle pulled it out, barely edging out the $165 million handout to VW by a vote of 47%-39%. Get excited because the full Pork Report will be released in Mid-July. If you want to be the first to receive the Pork Report as soon as it’s released, join our weekly email list by clicking here.
