TRAVIS WOODS, ATTORNEY

OUR PEOPLE

Travis is an attorney at the Beacon Center of Tennessee, where he focuses on litigation to protect constitutional rights and liberties.

Before joining Beacon, Travis was an assistant attorney general with the Missouri Attorney General’s Office, a trademark examining attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and a constitutional law fellow with the Pacific Legal Foundation. With the Pacific Legal Foundation, Travis was involved with litigation in state and federal courts in the fields of property rights, equality under the law, free speech, and the separation of powers. Travis’s first legal role after law school was as a judicial law clerk for the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles.

Travis’s commitment to defending liberty and individual rights goes back to his roots as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Air Force. After four years of service, Travis earned a J.D. at Georgetown University Law Center.

Travis is licensed to practice law in Washington, D.C., and Missouri and is currently pursuing admission to the bars of Tennessee and California.
