Senate urged to oppose government broadband

The Tennessee Center for Policy Research co-signed a letter with the Citizens Against Government Waste Monday in opposition to the governor’s plan to allow local governments to establish broadband networks. Last year’s Legislators’ Guide to the Issues contained a section explaining why government-owned telecommunications networks were bad for taxpayers and bad for jobs.
